This course is for people working in schools or education and care services who are likely to share information and require a detailed operational understanding of the Child Information Sharing reforms.
Undertaking this training strengthens professional capability in information sharing practice by building confidence, improving collaboration, and enhancing engagement across the service sector, and demonstrates compliance with Child Safe Standard 8: Staff and volunteers are equipped with the knowledge, skills and awareness to keep children and young people safe through ongoing education and training.
Training is facilitated by a team of expert facilitators and takes place via interactive webinar.
Participants will learn about:
• the intent and purpose of the Information sharing and Family Violence Reforms
• how the Reforms support and enhance existing child and family wellbeing and safety responsibilities and practices
• how to apply the Reforms
• where to go for more support and resources.
Webinars are held online via Webex.
