Privacy Information Policy

The Learning Management System (LMS) is provided by the Department to inform practitioners in prescribed workforces of changes to law, policy and their professional and legal obligations as part of two new information sharing schemes: the Child Information Sharing Scheme and the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme. It also hosts other whole of Victorian Government child safety and wellbeing professional development courses.
Users of the LMS are required to register to initiate their training, providing the following personal information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Work Email Address
- Work Phone Number
- Preferred Contact Method
- Department or agency.
The information provided is used to:
- Create a UserID for the system
- Monitor and report on relevant module completion, including to your employer
- Provide assistance via the policy help desk.
- Keep you informed of training and professional development opportunities (Note: this involves storing your personal information on the Department's communication platform, Vision6).
